Everything you need to know about being a SAPPHIRE Select Club member and aren’t afraid to ask.

How to I become a member?

It’s easy. Just enter your info and you’re done. You must be 18 years of age or older to become a member.

When I try to join SSC, it tells me my email address already exists. Why?

When you become an SSC member, we send you a verification email. Your account is active, but not enabled, until you validate your email address. If you try to register again with the same email address, the system will deny you access. If you didn’t receive your verification email, check your SPAM folders or contact us and we’ll help you out.

When I joined SSC, I was told I would get a verification email to activate my account. I still haven’t received it.

There are a number of reasons why you may not have received the verification email:

  1. Check your spam filters to make sure the verification email hasn't ended up there.
  2. Your email host may have rejected the email. Add DO-NOT-REPLY@sapphiretech.com to your address book or your filter's white list, and request a new verification email.
  3. You might have accidentally typed your email address incorrectly, which is why the verification email is not being delivered to your address.

Where is my serial number located?

There is an image on the SSC product registration page which should point you to the correct sticker which has your serial number. Go to the product registration page and click on the question mark icon. You should see a pop-up image. You may need to disable any pop-up blockers to see it. The serial number will begin with an 'A', ‘Q’, ‘S’, or a 'Z'. Some members have reported the serial number located near the UPC code of the product. You should also look for a white sticker with the word ‘ROHS’ or ‘Made in China’ on it. Depending on the age of your graphics card, the location of the serial number may move around; but generally it is on the back of your card. Of course, you can always contact us if you’re having issues and we’ll help you find it.

I’m trying to register my product and I’m being asked for a SAPPHIRE Identification Number. What is this?

As of May 10, 2011, some products will require you to enter in a SAPPHIRE Identification Number (SIN) along with your product’s serial number in order to complete the registration process. This number can be found on a voucher inside the product packaging or system packaging. View a sample here. Simply enter this number when prompted and you will be able to complete your product registration. If you’re having issues, please contact us.

What do I need to do to enter SSC contests?

First, you need to be an SSC member. Then just check back at the Contests page frequently, and accept the terms and conditions (make sure you read them!) of the contest you want to enter. Sometimes we will promote other contests of interest to our members, but in those cases you will be guided on how /where to enter.

Can any SAPPHIRE Select Club Member become a Gold Member?

Yes, but you need to register your SAPPHIRE graphics card in order to access the free promotions offered to Gold Members. Check which graphics cards are eligible first.

How do I know if I’m a Gold Member?

Simply log in and check your account status under ‘My Account’. Your membership status will be listed.

I just became a Gold member but I still can’t access the free promotions. What’s going on?

Once you register your product, you must log out of our web site. Once you log back in, you will automatically be recognized as a Gold member and can access the promotions on this page.

I’m having trouble with the promotion code I received for my free promotion. How can I get this fixed?

Firstly, check support page of the web site where you’re trying to use the code, which is usually sent with the email that accompanied the code. This should resolve 99% of any issues. If you still need help, email us and give us all the details; including any correspondence and/or screen shots from the web site, and we’ll try to help out if we can.

I’m using my free promotion code or gift card to purchase something that needs to be shipped to me. Will I be charged for shipping, handling, taxes, customs and duties?

Yes. SAPPHIRE does not cover these charges.

I’m trying to register more graphics cards to my account and I’m being told to contact SSC. Why?

Due to a number of fraudulent registrations, we instituted a new policy as of January 17, 2011. All members wishing to register six (6) or more graphics cards must contact SSC to complete the registration process. Simply send us the serial number and a picture of the graphics card you want to register and we will happily complete the process for you.

How do I log a Support Ticket?

In order to log a support ticket for your SAPPHIRE product, you must do the following:

  1. Become a SSC member or log in to your SSC account.
  2. Register your SAPPHIRE product through SSC.(become a Gold member)
  3. Create a Support Ticket.
